Good nutrition affects the core of our wellbeing. CityDietitians offer evidence-based nutrition from world-leading, consultant dieticians to individuals, companies and the media. They have been featured on the BBC and Channel 4 as well as in publications such as Forbes, Women’s Health and the Daily Mail.
All the dieticians usually offer clinics in London Bridge and Farringdon but are currently carrying out virtual consultations.
In their online clinics, you will be able to see a dietitian who is a true expert in their field. What we eat affects every organ system in our body in complex ways. Whatever your nutritional problem, we have a highly specialist dietitian who spends their working life researching and treating that specific condition or organ system – so you can be reassured you’ll be dealing with a true expert who offers a treatment plan that is backed by science. The initial appointment will assess your issue in depth in order to provide a treatment plan tailored to you. They will provide ongoing support in between appointments to ensure you are on the right track.
Sophie Medlin and Dr Nicola Guess set up CityDietitians when they worked together as lecturers and researchers at King’s College, London. Sophie is a colorectal dietitian, specialising in conditions that affect our bowel health. Nicola is a consultant diabetes dietitian with highly specialist knowledge in preventing diabetes, diabetes remission and metabolic syndromes such as polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS).
Sophie and Nicola are now joined by Dr Bridgette Wilson, a highly specialist dietitian and researcher in irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), Emily Bloxham, specialist children’s dietician and Priya Tew, eating disorders specialist.
Sophie also offers an intuitive approach to weight management through the exploration of her patient’s relationship with food, allowing them to make healthier choices without restriction.
